Willimatic Thread Trade card...
one of my passions is the paper arts. I love making cards for holidays and celebrations throughout the year. It is one way for me to keep friendships alive. I believe that everyone loves getting mail the old fashioned way, even in this era of emails and texting. It is that personal touch that I adore. The image on this card is a Willimatic Thread Trade card from the late 1800's. I was fortunate to find it here. This image has such a romantic look to her, right off the streets of Paris. And to think, she was an advertisement for thread! Next time you are out at the flea markets or tag sales, keep an eye out for these trade cards. They are such a treasure!
