Every week this spring and summer my daughter and I would fill our hummingbird feeder in hopes of attracting these beautiful treasures. Our patience paid off! All day long now these delightful birds come to our feeder right outside our kitchen window. What a delight it is to see them.
They perch themselves in a nearby amour maple bush...
Here he is about to take a sip of nectar...
Look closely...and you will see his tongue!!Soon they will migrate to a warmer climate for the winter. They will be missed but we hope they remember us next spring.
