I challenge everyone to pick one little word to set your sights on though out the year. My word for this new year is "hope".
In my class today, i needed to capture this word in a photograph that will remind me of my intentions. Without hope, we can not achieve all the things we want. It helps to push us forward, thru the difficult times. Just one little word can be so powerful!
The exciting thing about this photo is that it is the very first photo that i captured using the manual mode on my DSLR!! I have been studying my books and it really paid off. Tomorrow I am starting a new ecourse ... Mastering the Manual Mode. I can not wait to see all i learn!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture with great focus and DoF. And well done using manual mode. I haven't tried yet, apart from during a course last spring where we had to start with manual. I had only had my camera for a few weeks and didn't understand a thing and have never tried again since. But I'm taking the Mastering Manual Mode class as well and I'm looking forward to what we'll learn (already a bit behind though...).
