It is Memorial Day weekend...the unofficial start of summer.
Every summer i always have a list of things that i want to do, this summer is no exception!
~ take canning lessons at Sur La Table...already signed up for!
~ now get busy and put my new skill to use...start canning!
~rent a boat at Lake Geneva on a beautiful day and "tootle" around the lake
~ walk the "walk and gawk" again and again at Lake Geneva
~ take pictures, pictures and more pictures
~drinking fresh squeezed lemonade and maybe a margarita or two
~ making smores on the grill and enjoy all that gooyness
~ sleep with the windows wide open
~turn off the alarm and let the birds wake me up
~take long walks (after my broken pinkie toe heals)
~shop the organic farmer's market and enjoy the fresh veggies
~ooh and aah at the fireworks
~spend the early mornings on the porch watching the sunrise and listening to nothing
~continue learning from Kim Klassen's Beyond Layers class...just learned how to make this new fun type!
~and my list goes on and on...
Hope your summer is a time for you relax and rejuvenate!
"summer afternoon ~ summer afternoon;
to me those have always been the two most beautiful words
