It is Sunday once again and time for me to reflect and be grateful.
Some weeks it may be something big or it may seem small...
but either way...
it is important for me to give thanks.
This week was the Fox Valley Special Recreation Banquet.
It is held once a year to recognize both the participants and leaders
that go above and beyond.

This year we had a super surprise...
Our daughter, Michelle, won the Adult Participant of the Year award.
Just look at her face when she heard her name announced...
Pure excitement...pure joy
We are so grateful to this special organization.
They provide all kinds of wonderful recreational programs
for special needs people in our area.

Michelle has participated in gymnastics, lunch outings, theatre trips,
cooking lessons, water aerobics, exercise classes,
dinners and dancing and the list goes on an on...

Because of this group, my daughter's life has been so enriched.
We are so thankful for this wonderful, dedicated group of people
that put together such awesome programs
and fill such a need in these special lives.
