My find this week is my new David Austin rose. I discovered these English beauties several years ago...and now i finally have this treasure in my gardens. It's aroma is amazing as i walk out of my kitchen door each morning...it is a wonderful combination of strawberry and wine. Its flower reminds me so much of my lovely peonies. It has a giant full petalled cup with repeating blooms all summer long...
I just know that more varieties of David Austins need to find a home in my gardens.

ReplyDeleteHi, Nancy Jean! Oh ... this rose is exquisite! Your PoV is perfection. Thanks for sharing ... I think I shall have to research.
ReplyDeleteNancy you have really excited me with this D.A. rose photo. We planted four of the D.A. rose bushes several weeks ago - they are looking wonderfully healthy, and one had 3 small buds already! Now I can hardly wait for them to bloom. So nice to see yours that look very large and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is beautiful! You have made me want to look for these roses too. Your enthusiasm is catching :)
