"one is the loneliest number that you will ever do ..."
~three dog night~
Today is Sunday once again ... and Sunday would not be the same without Kathy's Song~ography linky party! Each week Kathy has a "fun mash~up of photography and song" ... a visual song, if you will.
Today's song choice is "one is the loneliest number" by three dog night.
I missed last week's song~ography linky fun. Tried as i might i just could not come up with a photo for Kermit's "it is not easy being green" Oh well ...
But i was determined not to let this week slip away.
Three years ago we brought Jake into our family ... a mini goldendoodle. It was love at first sight!
But when he was about two years ... we decided that one was really a lonely number ...
he needed a playmate ... a four legged companion.

Soooooo ... enter Cody into our home. At first i thought i had lost my marbles ... having to start all over with the sleepless nights, the house breaking, the training, the extra costs ...
But one really is a lonely number ... so much better with the number two!

If you have a few moments ... be sure to click here to join in on Kathy's song~ography linky party ... and see how others have connected with this song.
until next time ...

just a side note ... i used my new favorite app ... brushstroke ... on both images. I love all its features and the dreamy effects i can create!! Dare i say that i enjoy it more than Waterlogue? gasp...
I have so much more control over the outcome ... and anyone who know me knows that i love control ... giggle giggle.
I am going to print these on a heavy linen/cotton cardstock ... tear the edges ... then a trip to my favorite framer and have him float them on a white mat and finish with a dark frame.
I just love my two doddles!

What a cute pooch! Just adorable! I love seeing all these apps that give images a painterly feel! I haven't tried it yet.
ReplyDeleteNot more than Waterlogue! Gasp! I agree my boys wouldn't be the same without each other.
ReplyDeleteOo I need to check this app out! I haven't gotten waterlogue yet...but maybe?
ReplyDeleteCute cute pups!
Love your renditons of your gorgeous dogs. Two can keep you very busy, and broke. But still is fun
ReplyDeleteLove these images and you are absolutely right - with animals, two is much healthier than one.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable images! I agree that Brushstroke is a great app for your doodles. These will make gorgeous framed photos.
ReplyDeleteDef will have to check out this app! And I am soooo with you on the dog thing. We had one, then 1 1/2 years later added #2. I honestly do not know what they would do without each other now. Thanks for joining in on Song-ography. And seriously, aren't Goldendoodles the cutest?!?!?
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about having more than one pet. That is why I got a 2nd cat, to keep the 1st company while I am at work. Although cats are not that problematic in that respect, they are pretty good - alone.
ReplyDeleteFabulous painterly edits. I haven't taken the time yet on that app. Great mounting idea too.
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks soo sad cute puppy dogs
ReplyDeleteLove the puppies! Love the edits! Pets, you can't have just one!

I have to agree ... they are adorable and your processing is amazing. Talk to me about these apps ... do you have to have an i-pad to use them? The results are amazing but I don't have anything but Photo Shop Elements to work with so I don't think I can do that. Great post ... happy for you and your two adorable dogs.
