friday finds ... the 5.9.14 edition

"celebrate the rhythm and moods of the year"
~seasons~

I love Friday Finds with Kim Klassen ... "it is a place to gather and share ... a place to cherish life's simple pleasures" ... doesn't that sound like such an inviting place?

I can not believe that it has been weeks since i last posted here ... life happens!  never ending landscaping projects ... new hardwood floors installed ... moving furniture, lamps, pictures, china resulting  in a painful knee that is cramping my style.  But i am back now!

I just love it when i stumble upon a delightful find.  One of my guilty pleasures is to browse thru the magazine section of our local bookstore.  I find that an hour can pass in a blink of an eye.

This week i discovered "Seasons" magazine.  It is chock full of eye candy for spring, summer, fall and winter.
Talk about inspiration ...  Such delightful source of photography, recipes and  decorating ideas for your home. It gently guides you from one wonderful season into the next.
And as a bonus ... it is one of those magazines that is printed on that heavy weight paper ... you know the kind ... such a delight to page thru!

Next time you are at your favorite book shop ... take a peek ... i think you are going to love it!

If you have a few moments, be sure to click on Kim's adorable button that will lead you to more delightful friday finds!

  9. Thanks for sharing your beautiful still life photo. Books and magazines make such great backdrops as they become a part of the story. Is that flower freesia? Kinda looks like it - they smell divine. I tried to find the Seasons magazine, but looks like it's a regional publication not in Virginia. So glad you found inspiration. And yes, with the warm spring weather, I'm having a hard time getting to the computer, too - so blog posts may be slow in coming!
