I love Friday Finds with Kim Klassen ... "it is a place to gather and share ... a place to cherish life's simple pleasures" ... doesn't that sound like such an inviting place?
It seems like ages since i wrote my last post ... well maybe only three weeks ... but a whole lifetime of "stuff" has happened in a few short weeks... and not so good stuff.
There have been days that i have been completely overwhelmed ...
I have been trying to practice all the goodness that Kim has been teaching us in her wonderful Be Still class ... breathe, be mindful, be grateful ... and you know ... it does help.
Okay ... enough about me ... let's get on to my friday find!
Okay ... enough about me ... let's get on to my friday find!
Summertime means one thing here in the midwest ... Market time!! I just love our farmer's market ... full of all kinds of fresh organic goodness.
One of my favorite farmers drives all the way from Michigan every friday to sell her fruits and flowers. She has over two acres just filled with flowers...can you imagine?
This week her booth was brimming with these beauties ... peonies of every colour... mixed with the baby's breath was just too hard to resist!

You can bet where you will find me every friday morning ... at the market deciding which lovely will find its way back to my home!

I miss the wonderful farmers markets we don't get much of them here in the desert of AZ. just too hot have to wait until winter for our Farmer's Market. The peony is just beautiful along with your edit.

Oh, how pretty...I need to purchase some peonies one of these days because they're such a beautiful flower. I'm so sorry about your rough few weeks and I hope things have taken a turn for the better.
