28 hours...

I had such an amazing day yesterday.  I got to hold my good friend's grandson who was only 28 hours old!  It has been almost 28 years since i last held a baby that tiny. I know i could have held him all day long!

 He is so precious and just perfect. 

 I am happy to report that the proud mama, brother and grandma are doing great!  However, the poor daddy is sick in bed with pneumonia!  I feel so bad for him that he is missing out on all the excitiment.  Hopefully in a few more days, the proud papa will be up and feeling fine again...ready to help out with those 2am feedings and poopy diapers! 

I have been working on a baby blanket for Parker (what a great name!).  I am proud to say it is finished now, boxed and wrapped and ready to go.  I was so excited about the way it turned out that i am happily working on another for a girl.  I have no one yet to give it to, but it will be ready whenever that next special baby arrives!
