limited time...

"After all, I don't see why I am always asking for private,
 individual, selfish miracles
when every year there are miracles like white dogwood."

Today i had a new lesson in my inbox from Kim Klassen's fabulous Beyond Layers e~coarse.  She gave us another texture to try and also a wonderful brush set to use in our processing.
As i was looking over the amazing brush quotes, this one was just perfect for today...

"your time may be limited, but your imagination is not"

I have been so busy with life lately that i have not had much time behind the lens.  So when i read this quote i just knew that i had to put aside my daily tasks and carve out some "me" time...just me and my camera.

We have one small dogwood tree in our backyard with the most stunning blossoms.  Our little tree only has a dozen or so flowers...but their beauty is just beyond awesome!
So before their short~lived beauty is gone, i knew that i needed to go outside and photograph it.  I guess that is what i love about photography...my ability to capture moments in time.

Well, i guess it is time for me to get back to my tasks again...but i sure had fun capturing these dogwood blossoms!

Until next time...

  1. It's nice to meet you and I'm happy to see how your dogwood has began to bloom. Please share it's progress.
