a little black and white...

I have been so busy this month with my new e~class...black and white photography.
I am finding very challenging, it is a whole new experience for me.

When you strip away the colour... what is left?

Alot!!
I am finding that i love the simplicity of the photos.
I think that black and whites can be timeless.
Our eyes focus on the graphic elements..the lines, curves and repetition.

Where better to find these elements than in Chicago.
Millennium Park is just the perfect place to explore...just look at all these lines!

High Key photography is a fun happy form of black and white.  It focuses mostly on the white and light side of the photo.  Usually it is purposefully over~exposed.
It gives such a dramatic look...don't you think?

There is one more black and white that i absolutely adore.
The delicious black and white cookie, if you have not tried one, you don't know what you are missing! ... smile!

Until next time...
