No, my favorite things are not raindrops on roses or even whiskers on kittens...
although they are pretty cool, especially if they are photographed well...sigh.
My favorite things are runiculus, Downton Abbey and
La Tartine Gourmande.
It was such a delightful Mother's Day weekend. We celebrated with my dear mother~in~law on Saturday and my lovely mother on Sunday.
Both my children and my beautiful daughter~in~law were here.
What more could a girl ask for?
Nothing...i had it all!
But then each brought such thoughtful gifts...my favorite things!
My son and his wife brought me an amazing bouquet of flowers from their favorite florist, Asrai Garden. I have them in a vase sitting on my kitchen sill where i can enjoy them throughout the day. Asrai is a small quaint shoppe in Wicker Park just overflowing with beauty! If you find yourself in the city, be sure to visit!

My daughter bought me my second favorite thing...
the first two season's of Downton Abbey and the book! I think it is my all time favorite television series.
I just love watching and getting wrapped up in the lives of this English family. If you have not seen this show, try it, i think you will fall in love also!

ReplyDeleteI too love ranunculus. We have had a bit of strange spring, so it looks like ours will be a bit late this year, but I am waiting very patiently. My camera however, is getting very impatient! :-)
