"i am seeking, i am striving,
i am in it with all my heart."
~vincent van gogh~
Kim Klassen's Beyond the Layers e~class encouraged us this week to "honour our surroundings"...
to photograph the beauty where we live.
I do not live near a beach, although that would be totally awesome;
nor do i not live high up in a mountain top.
I live smack dab in the middle of the states....the flat prairie.
This evening i took a stroll with my camera and opened my eyes to all the beauty
surrounding me. I did not have to look very far. The coneflowers are native to my part of the world and they were showing off their colours this evening. And those picturesque red barns are just about everywhere, dotting our countryside.
Thank you once again, dear Kim, for inspiring me to slow down and really see the beauty all around.
Until next time...
