friday finds...6.28.13 edition

"If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance"
 ~Bern Williams~

It is the end of the week and time for my favorite find.  Friday Finds is a place to gather and share...a chance to cherish life's simple pleasures...

My find this week is once again a little different from the norm.  My find this week is time...me time.
A chance for me to step away from all distractions...a chance to renew.  Even if it is only minutes a day...i am finding that it helps me so much when i am faced with my daily challenges.
I do not know about you, but i am always putting myself last...even the dogs get more of my attention than i give myself!
So this week i have tried hard to find some time for myself....reading, napping, stitching, knitting....just enjoying some peace and quiet from life's busy summer days.

Today i am linking up with Kim Klassen's Friday Finds.  If you have a moment be sure to click on the beautiful button below to discover more beautiful finds.

  1. I know exactly how you feel. I put myself last for a long time, and even still when Mallory comes home, I put what I want to do until the end of the day, and then I am too tired. It is important to nourish ourselves with some alone time.

  2. I feel the same way and had a day like that yesterday when I was working on my Grandson's post...I have my Friday find but no time today...I'll get to it though and I also have my lesson for this week...but again, needs processing.
Good for you for finding the time and doing it...It is a beautiful post...I love it.

  4. A lady after my own heart when needing a bit of time to yourself to do whatever calls to your creative soul....

A pretty find as I was at the nursery yesterday looking at all the lovely Hydrangea varieties available.... I found a miniature pink one I'd love to buy, perhaps next time.

Your collection of classes look alluring as I'm going to hop around to see what they are.

    Have a nice weekend,
