Yesterday was that picture perfect kind of day.
You know ...when the cool air blows in from Canada and pushes away all our heat and humidity.
It is the kind of day that you have to walk away from all your chores and obligations and go for that Sunday ride...on a Thursday.
And that is just what we did. We got in the car and headed up to Lake Geneva to take our favorite walk around the lake...affectionately known as the "walk and gawk".
It was the perfect day to go on Kim Klassen's photo scavenger hunt with my camera.
No. 1...a country scene. As we were driving up we ran into all kinds of road construction. To pass the time i snapped a photo of a passing farm with my iPhone and had fun using my new favorite app ...Rhonna's Design. I needed to stay positive about all traffic!
No. 2...water. After almost two hours of driving we finally turned the corner and saw this welcoming sight...Lake Geneva. We arrived and my day dreaming kind of day started.
No. 3...a bench. As we started our walk, i found this beautiful bench. click...i thought the colour was just so dreamy!
No. 4...a pop of colour. All along the path there were coneflowers everywhere...just perfect pops of colour!!
No. 5,6,7... loved ones, creative reflection, light
I know, i know i am missing the last three...but our day was over and it was time to drive back home to all the chores we left behind. But for a day, it was sure fun to play hooky!
Until next time...
NancyJean
It sure looks like a fun day and I love your idea of playing hooky every once in a while...It's good for the soul....
ReplyDeleteLove coneflowers and the shot of the lake looks so refreshing....We are still in the hot zone...
Beautiful pictures and processing Nancy. I am so far behind in 2B.... hopefully when summer winds down.

Your day outing turned out beautifully! What gorgeous collection of photos you captured - and so fun to find so many topics for the hunt! Thank you for sharing the fun day of photography, Nancy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day. I loved going along. Your photos are just stunning.
ReplyDeleteLove the curve of the bench, good find and POV.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds for the hunt. Glad you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteYou and your camera have to be ALWAYS ready when you're on for a photo scavenger hunt challenge. There are a lot of things that you can see on the road, and some of them might probably on the list, so you should always be prepared. Don't miss your chance! :D
