spring has sprung...
...But so very very slowly here in the Midwest. The temperatures this week are struggling to get to the mid 40's! It is so cold, damp, cloudy and rainy. We are beginning to wonder if winter will ever let go... even had a few snow flakes! We are in such need of the beautiful spring blossoms to brighten up our landscape.
These daffodils were photographed at the Naperville Riverwalk acouple of weekends ago on our one beautiful sunny weekend. I used a low f-stop to get the blurred backround and then applied a Kim Klassen texture over it...just to soften it up abit.
To those of you reading this blog who i usually send Easter cards to...i promise they are coming soon. It has been very hectic around here lately. The wedding is just 11 weeks away and so much to do. Also keep Rick's mother is your thoughts and prayers for her to regain her health and return home from the hospital soon.
In the meantime, I hope everyone has a very blessed Easter!
