honoring our dad...

"my father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person,
he believed in me"   

It is Father's Day...time to honour the fathers in our life!

We have the usual gifts bought and wrapped, just waiting for this afternoon for hubby to open them.  We are not sure if they will fit but if they do, i know he will love them!  If not, then there is always the gift receipt!!

This year i wanted to do something alittle different ...  i saw an idea that i loved.  I asked  my son and daughter some questions about their daddy. I just know that he will enjoy reading their answers!

Share a favorite memory you have your Dad

michelle... competing in gymnastics and seeing him in the crowd waving and cheering me on!
chris...my time with day sailing around the florida keys one summer!

What activity do you enjoy doing with Dad?

Michelle...i love golfing with Dad.  Golf is Dad's thing, gymnastics is Mom' s thing!

Chris...there is of coarse golf (but that is often a good walk spoiled).  My favorite thing is to make things with dad...not only enjoying the finished product but also the little tricks along the way!

What is your favorite food/restaurant that you and Dad enjoy?

Michelle...Daddio's!  I love riding my bike with dad down to Daddio's  for breakfast!

Chris...Grilling shish kabobs  in the summer.  It is surprising how well a little italian dressing, grilled veggies/meat and rice go together on a summer day!

What does Dad enjoy when he has the special alone time?

Michelle...work on his  laptop
Chris...he does not get any alone time!

If you could tell Dad just one thing today, what would it be?

Michelle...I Love You!

Chris...I owe much of who i am today to you.  It just could not be this way without your support...i love you!
