Day 1...Beginnings.
I am so excited to start Kim Klassen's wonderful Beyond Beyond class. It will be loaded with lightroom tips, iphone tricks, photoshop hints, journaling prompts ... just total inspiration!
Our assignment was to photograph something we love...not just a snapshot...but to take a half hour to explore different angles, f~stops, exposure. In other words we were to loose ourselves in our photography. Something that is sooo easy to do. And yes, before i knew it an hour had passed and i must have taken over a hundred shots of my thread. Thank goodness for the digital era!
I wanted to photograph my soon to be new love... sewing. This week i bought myself a "big girl" sewing machine. I have had my eye on this model for almost two years....
Berninna 550 Quilters Edition.
When i first laid my eyes on this one, you had to pick me up off the floor when i found out the cost. But this week i was able to find a floor model on sale! It was mine!! Tomorrow i start my seven hours of guide classes, just to find out how this machine works...can not wait!
So this sure as been my lucky week...Kim Klassen's new class and a new sewing machine...what could be better?
Until next time...
